🚗 Racer
★★★★★★★★★★
280-ZZZAP is a simple racing game. The only aim is to get a high score by driving as fast as possible on a track with randomized curves. The car has two gears, and steering gets much more difficult at high speeds. Crashing into the roadside posts will reset the car, but there are no obstacles or other vehicles to worry about. A standard game lasts for 80 seconds, and an additional 40 seconds are granted if the score is at least 2.50 when time runs out. The rating given when the game is over is based on the score as well as the amount of crashes.

🏺 Fantasy Text Adventure
★★★★★★★★★★
Adventure, also known as Colossal Cave Adventure, is the namesake of the adventure genre. Although it wasn't the first such game, it was the first one that was popular and influential. Adventure is entirely textual and has a simple two-word parser to interpret commands. The goal is to find all the treasures in a vast cave, which is in large part based on a real cave system.
Valid movement options are usually included in the description of a location, but there are also some secret paths, and no useful information is provided for the two mazes, one of which is unnecessary to complete the game. Since locations often don't connect in a linear fashion, mapping is essential. The game also contains fantasy elements. Although rare, it's possible to be killed by randomly appearing dwarves. Otherwise, death almost never occurs except when falling into a pit, which naturally happens in the dark. Consequently, the adventure is over if the lamp goes out.
Various puzzles have to be solved to acquire all twelve treasures, often requiring other items found in the game. Since inventory space is limited, not everything can be collected in one go. Once all of the treasures have been dropped in the building, the final puzzle sequence is unlocked, though it takes a while until it begins. Points are awarded for significant actions, but something unrelated to the completion of the game must be done to get the full score and achieve the highest rating.

🧭 Overhead Maze
★★★★★★★★★★
Amazing Maze is a competitive maze game for one or two players. A single-player game ends when the player loses, though not before three matches have been played. Before each match, the random layout of the maze can be studied for a short amount of time. The player starts at the exit on the right side, and the AI starts at the exit on the left side. The first one to leave through the exit on the opposite side wins. Once a match is over, the correct path is shown. The AI moves at a fairly slow speed, which increases a little after each successive match, but it always goes the right way.

👣 Snakelike
★★★★★★★★★★
The gameplay of Bigfoot Bonkers is basically identical to Blockade. Besides the addition of a single-player mode, the only other major difference is that each match has three randomly placed feet which function as additional obstacles to be avoided. A standard game is won by reaching a score of three.

🚧 Snakelike (Arcade)
Blockade is a competitive arcade game for two players that takes place on a single-screen playfield with walls at its edges. Each player has limited control over an arrow, which advances constantly. It can only be set to move in a different cardinal direction and leaves behind a solid block with each step. Crashing into an object awards the other player a point and starts a new match. Six points are required to win a standard game.
This type of game came to be known as a light cycle game due to the gameplay being so similar to the light cycles sequence in the movie Tron, which came out much later. Blockade is also the precursor of snake games.

🧱 Block Breaker
★★★★★★★★★★
Breakout is basically Pong with the playfield rotated by ninety degrees and the paddle on top replaced by eight rows of bricks. The remaining paddle is used to prevent the ball in play from falling through the bottom of the screen. It bounces off everything else, and a brick is removed after it has been hit by it. The gameplay represents a prisoner trying to escape, which is achieved by clearing two screens. A standard game provides three balls.
The wall of bricks is divided into four sections of different colors, each one consisting of two rows. The higher a section, the more points are scored for destroying a brick of that color. The ball speeds up after four hits and again after twelve hits, and it also gets faster the first time an orange or red brick is hit. Should the ball hit the wall at the top, the paddle is reduced to half its size.

🚔 Shooter
★★★★★★★★★★
Cops n' Robbers is a competitive shooter for up to four players, each one controlling a car. The cops drive on a street with two lanes on the left side of the screen, and the robbers have a corresponding street on the right. Each lane can have a car, which is confined to it. A wide street in the middle separates the combatants. In a single-player game, the player controls the robber car on the right lane while the AI controls both police cars.
The cars are in constant motion unless they're at the top or bottom of the screen. Using the gas button makes the car go forward, otherwise it drops behind. Two bullets per car can be on the screen at the same time. The angle of the shots can be adjusted, and bullets bounce off the top and bottom. The beer trucks that slowly move up the center absorb shots.
One hit, including friendly fire, disables a car and removes it from play, which scores one point for the opposing side. It can be respawned after a short time, though it can be destroyed again without delay. A standard game counts down from 90, which is around 3 minutes.
